From IM-6 all purpose rods to specialty IM-10 and High Modulus blanks. Colors of thread are vast. Metallics, Neon, HT braid and many others to decorate and personalize your rod. People ask: Why a Custom Rod? Can't I get the same thing at the store?

Answer: NO, store bought rods are put together so fast there is not much care going into finding the spline of the blank, the care of proper guide placement and attachment etc. A custom rod is put together one piece at a time and care is taken in the application of glues and epoxies, and proper alignment. Guide placement is crucial and as all blanks have a different and unique spline or "backbone". A custom rod will be built in the most effective manner possible. You will be able to notice a difference in casting and fighting fish with a custom rod. If the spline is not properly placed the rod will tend to roll in your hands while under load. A rod should not only look good but it should, most of all, be functional. Very functional. If you have any type of disability, we can alter the layout of the rod to fit your specific need.
